The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost island in the Caribbean archipelago. The larger of the two islands, Trinidad, has a boot-like shape, measures 37 miles (80km) by 50 miles (60 km), and is noted for having an ecological and geographical diversity that is unmatched in the region.
The capital city, Port of Spain, is the business centre of the Caribbean, housing the headquarters for a number of local businesses, a myriad of restaurants and nightlife entertainment like no other. The sister isle of Tobago is a stark contrast to Trinidad. Considerably smaller in size, Tobago is well-known for its coral reefs, pristine blue waters and white sandy beaches,the smaller island is perfect for leisure activities and an immersive experience with nature. An abundance of natural reserves in oil and natural gas has made significant contributions to the strength of the Trinidad & Tobago economy—making it one of the strongest economies in the region.

My trip to Tobago was excellent, until the last day I was there. I was staying at the Magdalena Resort. I needed some paper money in which to tip my servers with. My taxi driver drove me to the closet republic near that resort. I think this is the one. I input Visa card into the ATM. The ATM confiscated the card, which I don’t know why. I had more than enough funds in my account I had just got paid on that date and I was leaving for home at 11:30 pm that night. It was 6:05 pm. and I asked the security guard to help me. I took me a couple of minutes to convince her to help me (sucking on her lollipop seemed more pressing business). I was in the lobby and watched as employee after employee walk out for the day. I asked each of them to help but none would. I was so upset because I was leaving that night and that was my only way of paying. Very distressed. I was appalled at the customer service. Never got my card back and the resort helped me out. Poor Poor customer service!!!!!!!
