Trinidad and Tobago have lots of forts and places with cannons, and Fort Milford is one of them. It is not too large and within an hour you can learn a lot about the island’s history. It is located on a heel from where you have a great view of the sea. It’s great for a quick stop and rest.
Prefect for a fast stop. If you travel to the island with children, here they can have tones of fun, running and playing around the cannons, while you can relax and have a great view over the sea. Fort Milford is a beautiful historical place.
Unfortunately, there’s not much left to see, only couple of cannons and old walls. Nevertheless, my kids loved the place, especially canons. The fort is located next to the Crown Point airport, on the island’s westernmost point.
A day long tour around the island. Few quick stops, among which Fort Milford. Besides the view, there’s nothing else here.
