I had the pleasure of staying at Jimmy’s Holiday Resort in Crown Point, Tobago about five years ago. The resort was comfortable and convenient, with good rooms and friendly staff. Its proximity to local shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches like Store Bay and Pigeon Point made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchenette in our room was a great addition, allowing us to prepare our own meals when we wanted. I highly recommend Jimmy’s for a truly memorable Caribbean experience!
Boy, I remember when I visited Jimmy’s Holiday Resort in Tobago about 15 years ago. Back then, it was a real gem in Crown Point. The location was top-notch, right in the heart of everything. You could take a short stroll to the beach, or catch a taxi to town. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchenette was a real convenience. But what I remember most was the warm, friendly staff. They made you feel right at home. Now, I hearing that things ain’t what they used to be, with some guests complaining about cleanliness and customer service. That’s real sad to hear. Jimmy’s was a good spot for a budget-friendly vacation. I hope they could turn things around and bring back the charm it once had..
Visited Jimmy’s Resort pre-pandemic. Disappointed. Location was the only plus – close to beaches and eateries. But the rooms? Dirty and outdated. The kitchenette lacked basic utensils. Staff seemed uninterested. Pool was unclean. Not the tropical paradise I envisioned. Tobago’s beautiful, but Jimmy’s Resort? A letdown. Would not recommend.
As a young Brit visiting Tobago before the pandemic, I found Jimmy’s Resort to be a mixed bag. The location was superb, nestled close to beaches and local cuisine. However, the resort itself left much to be desired. The rooms were spacious but lacked cleanliness and modern amenities. The kitchenette was handy, but poorly equipped. The staff, while present, lacked the warmth I’d expected. The pool was a disappointment, not maintained well. Overall, while Tobago’s natural beauty was a treat, the stay at Jimmy’s Resort was underwhelming. It’s a shame, as with some improvements, it could be a fantastic spot
