We booked online so the check-in was quick and easy. We came in the group of 6 and got 2 rooms. The rooms were extremely clean, with huge flat TV screens. We even had a coffee machine. The only pitfall of the Magdalena Resort is the price. It’s pretty expensive and it’s a shame they don’t offer any discount to their regular customers. I come here 2-3 times a year.
The breakfast was included in the price of the room and the buffet offer was fantastic. The only issue were the waiters at Pembois restaurant, it took more than 30 minutes to get our coffee and there was some obvious eye rolling. Overall offer, hotel and the surroundings are nice, we will probably get back someday.
I have a small business running and once a year I take all my workers (12) for a little trip. This year we decided to visit Tobago and Magdalena Resort. We booked online and everything at the check-in went smoothly. The hotel offers some cool amenities like bike rides, pool, fitness center… The only problem I had is with the on-site restaurants and coffee shops. They were closing sooner than it was advertised and we had to look for a decent place to hang out elsewhere.
I celebrated my birthday here in August 2015. I’m planing on visiting Tobago in 2016 too, and we are probably staying in Magdalena again, since the last time was perfect. My kids loved the last trip so much.
