My children were thrilled to see the turtles from close. We had a lovely day, the weather was nice and we took some wonderful pictures with the little turtles, swam with them in the water… My family had a really good time here, we recommend everyone to visit the Matura Beach.
I’m not a person who likes slow and lazy vacations, so this was the perfect adventurous getaway for me. Matura Beach was the place to be. The amazing feeling of visiting a beach that is completely covered with bigger and smaller turtles is still keeping me warm, even after a few weeks after I came back home. This vacation was a complete learning-resting type of experience, where not only I got a chance to soak some sun rays, but also learn about the Trinidad & Tobago nature and history. I honestly, can’t wait to get some free time in my schedule and go back, because this place is worth it.
Cool idea to take your kids here and actually show them how real turtles live. You can have a nice rest while they are occupied with the turtles.
