This reserve is a home for more than half of T&T birds. My husband and I were hiking with our freelance guide, looking for birds, lizards, snakes… This is a protected reserve but I’ve seen some trash, people can be so rude. Overall, great nature and fun experience.
My son is suffering from bronchitis and we take him every weekend for a tour somewhere in nature. We enjoyed The Ridge Forest last week, almost for an entire day. He was delighted with the birds.
If you’re planing on visiting Tobago, you should know it doesn’t have any poisonous snakes, so the Main Ridge Forest trip (or any other trip to nature) will be safe. Just use a lot of insect repellent!
