Very interesting place. We didn’t get anyone to tell us what was the whole thing about the water wheel, but we enjoyed the view and it’s pretty cool for pictures taking.
Even though abandoned and left to fall apart, this place has some weird charm. It’s great for a short stop and for taking pictures, that’s what people do here. I find it remarkably beautiful.
This remarkable ruin once provided power for a whole enormous sugar plantation in Speyside. People don’t appreciate history, we heard nothing about it from our relatives in T&T, heard about it accidentally on the street. It is important to visit the place, even if there’s almost nothing left but the bunch of iron.
